The rules of the RCCC apply to the Veterans Curling Club.
League Matches and Club Championship
A maximum of 8 ends or the bell. 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw. Final position on points. In the event of a tie, places will be decided on (a) ends won (b) shots up and (c) total shots scored. If still tied, the result of the match between tied rinks shall count.
Free Guard Zone
Applies throughout.
Three Curlers
Where a rink plays with only three curlers, that team will deduct one third off its total shots, rounded to the nearest integer: e.g. 3 1/3 = 3, 3 2/3 = 4.
Substitutes
The rule for all leagues is:
a substitute should not play higher than second. The skip must come from the original rink (unless the circumstances are exceptional). In the Club Championship a substitute must not play higher than the person he replaces.
Curling Delivery Stick
The use of a delivery stick shall be restricted as follows:
Players choosing to deliver with a delivery stick must use that device for the delivery of all their stones during the entire game.
The stone must be delivered along a straight line from the hack to the intended target.
